About Treasures Of The Crown

The rare groupings of artwork and antiques in the Treasures Of The Crown collection have been lovingly brought to the South by partners, Mr. Jim Harden & Mr. Trey Clegg, who have spent the better part of their 8+ year union collecting such items. Throughout numerous European visits, Mr. Clegg and Mr. Harden discovered the fine porcelains of the Italian nobility to be their passion. However, it was on a trip to New York City where they discovered and purchased their first piece of Capo di Monte (hereinafter referred to as Capo) in a small shop off of Central Park.

Realizing their first piece of Capo was a fine addition to their home, they set out to expand their collection. One of the striking discoveries they have made about Capo is its minute detail. With closer examination, the porcelains truly come to life. Each piece, of course, is one of a kind and each is exquisite. After filling their home with several pieces of Capo and Silver Statuary, Mr. Harden and Mr. Clegg felt that it was time to share these remarkable works with the city of Atlanta and its surrounding areas. While not wishing to turn their home into a museum, it was obvious that the next best thing to do was to open a gallery... a special place where art lovers and collectors could not only see the fine works of Capo and other sculptors, but also be able to purchase these items for their personal enjoyment. Understanding that each item has a descending line that has met royalty at some point, Treasures of the Crown was born.

Both Mr. Clegg and Mr. Harden invite you to share in this rich collection of some of the finest porcelain and silver sculpture that has touched the lives of royalty throughout the centuries, and which is now carefully presented in our great metropolitan city.
